I bought this 91 LX, with GT Side Skirts & Cobra Rear Wing, as a 16 year old kid as my second 5.0. I had a auto convertible and saved up to buy myself a Hatch 5 Speed and enjoyed the car for 1 month until a drunk driver t-boned me on the passenger side. After a long deal of the car going "missing" at the junk yard and then the car being "found" but parts going "missing" then found, I took the car back and not the offer the insurance company gave me because I just can't get rid of my 5.0, no matter how bad she had been beaten. After six months of working on her I got her driving and presentable just enough for the last month of my senior year.I went off the college and graduate school and have been visiting her yearly in Florida where I keep her garage kept. As a broke student I just clean her, maintain her and fix anything I can for cheap, such as repainting the rims and cleaning/painting the engine bay. Once I finish graduate school I have big plans for her, which have been blessed by my wife. I"m looking to make her a drag car my wife and I can enjoy, I just first have to make sure that she is capable since she was hit so hard, which I have been avoiding to do for the past 10 years. If this pony has a broken leg, I'm going to keep her anyways because I've had her forever and she'll be the family weekend driver/modest drag car.
