#525 She doesn't have substitute's except maybe for other 911's. Although 911's can be arguably compared and critiqued, especially among their own lineage and variations, I've never been disappointed with one when it came to driving experience, not yet. After the water cooled change washed in the new millennium and unaccepted sounds were partially appeased with more power, improved performance, and delicious poached egg headlights, the anniversary presented itself without podium attention or much fanfare. More so an optioned staple in the German stable, it was quickly over shadowed and slept from the public eye as the 997 restored harmony with it's readjusted aesthetics. This sub model came with some special magic in the final year of production including delights from the parts bin, numbered branding in the cockpit with additional badging throughout. I look forward to sharing my time with her (Shirley) as I myself have more time to write in the future, so until next time and thank you for reading so far!
