Shop Wheels & Tires ModsI purchased this car a year ago with a clear intent. Have a reliable DSM (usually both words don't go well together). The GSX was my favorite car when I was a teenager and never got around to having one. A friend owned it and kept it in relatively good shape and very well maintained. He had done some of the mods already but the poor T25 was pretty tired and had lots of shaft play. My modding bug started with the combination of an E3 16G turbo, intercooler, fuel pump, injectors, blow-off & the ecu to be able to tune the whole thing. Decided to to everything in one swift step instead of messing with a half assed setup. Unfortunately everything didn't go as smoothly as I thought. The E3 16G I bought was blown and needed a rebuild (even after the seller sweared it was rebuilt) and didn't even bother to include the turbine housing. I bought a 7cm turbine housing, a quality rebuild kit and a new 20G compressor wheel and housing while at it. Once everything was installed it was pretty much smooth sailing. The car as of now is producing pretty good power at 26psi on 93 pump gas. Dyno figures as of late are pending since I just recently installed the 272 Delta Cams (DKS). A tune and dyno plot will be coming in the next month. Stay tuned.
