Was looking for a 928 for several years, with some specific requirements. I wanted an 85-87 as I was looking for a 32V motor, but wanted the pre-facelift style of the early cars. I also wanted a manual transmission - many of my cars are Automatics and with only an estimated 15%-20% manual cars it was a very narrow band. Color was not a huge factor although I did not want the red interior as I feel it dates the car. This car came up on an eBay search, but was actually for sale locally so I went to look at it. Car was well kept, fairly original but needed a few things, but it hit everything on my checklist. Very little was needed but I've done a fair amount of detail work, a new clutch, rebuilt MAF, and most importantly an S3 Performance chip (which requires the S4 fuel pressure regulator) which dramatically increases the performance of the car.
