Tell us the story behind your ride. What made you pick this particular one? Where did you find it? My 2007 Saab 9-3 automatic was deemed totaled from someone rear ending me while I was stopped at a red light, I had always wished that mine was a manual and liked the exterior of the facelift 9-3 better. This was one of 3 manual facelift 9-3 2.0Ts for sale in the country at the time and it happened to be around 10 minutes away from my house. I was able to catch that car the day that the owner posted it up for sale, looked at it and purchased it. I was lucky that I was able to find the car just hours after the previous owner posted it, the car was posted Saturday and I picked the vehicle up Thursday. The owner said that he had received 20+ calls in the 5 day period from when first posted. Describe the modifications you've made. Where did you start, what’s the most recent mod and what motivated it? I have not done anything yet other than flash a tune onto the car as I already had a tune and modified it to work with the 2008 manual version. Of all the mods you’ve made, which do you think offers the biggest bang for the buck? How did you go about selecting the specific parts for this build? Any installation tips to share? What are you planning next? Swap lowering springs over from my 2007 or purchase coilovers, swap wheels over, and then install Camaro ZL1 brembos (I haven't decided whether I want to do the 4 piston calipers or go way overkill and purchase the 6 pistons). What’s been the biggest challenge with this build? Just over a year later: Well a lot more has changed than I guess I initially expected, A lot has been done from a performance standpoint, check installed parts for details. For suspension I skipped coilers and went straight to airlift, for wheels I've got a set of Work VS-XX's that I need some more suspension components to allow them to fit.
