VEHICLE STORY

I've been looking for an STi Hatchback since 2010 and had never quite been able to afford it. I was driving a 2005 Honda Accord that I'd kept completely stock and fixed/repaired any issues I had myself (big feat since I had NO TOOLS and only a tiny bit of experience in working with Dirt bike engines. Finally in October 2013 I decided I'd had enough of the Honda and wanted to buy/finance my dream car. I got to the Subi dealership expecting to find the WRX STi Hatch and just go for it. Well... what I found out is they had already sold the 2011 that I'd seen online and I could not qualify (realistically) for a NEW STi. That's when I saw a new White BRZ sitting there with 6 miles on it. Fell in love with the test drive.... Bought it.... LOVE IT, but it was never the STi I still longed for. Fast forward almost 3 years (July 2016) and I'd started looking again for the STi Hatch. There were only a hand full of them online and most of the ones out of state were overpriced to begin with, but then they wanted stupid amounts of money to transfer it to Texas. Then I saw the 2013 with 30k miles, some ugly accents (Hood was Black and has red trim and a red spoiler with red mud flaps.) I thought I'd hate it but wanted to see if I could get in it and drive it. Went up to the dealership (small, almost mom-&-pop dealer) and the salesman was incredibly nice and practically threw the keys at me. I looked in, under, out, and under the hood and all looked very clean and well kept. There were already some aftermarket mods, Injen Air intake and Invidia Cat Back, and that's all I could see. Started the engine and WOW.... that Invidia Exhaust note had me hooked!! Drove it a few miles out down a country(ish) road and yes... now I own it!! Still need to really dig into the car and see what all I really have, but I'm really ecstatic to finally have an STi Hatch!! such an amazing car!
