VEHICLE STORY

I welcome everyone to join me for my journey with the 17 brz. Not even going to BS here. Fell in love with imports from the fast & furious movies growing up and have always had my eye on modding out a car to my level of "Extreme". I've owned several vehicles over the years, 15 BMW 335i, 15 GT Mustang, 15 Charger R/T, 16 Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited, 15 Golf R, etc, I've found that out of them all, along with any of the other cars I've test driven, the 86 platform simply felt the best. It had the best feedback, I feel completely in tune with it, as if it were an extension of my own body, and although not the most powerful vehicle by any means, I still love it. I finally settled on the BRZ for my project car in October of 2017, By December 1st 2017, all the mods and work done to the car was completed. My goals for the near future include an Edelbrock Supercharger, Flex Fuel kit, and DT Tune. Within the next year I'd like to have new seats at a lower height, front & rear BBKs, and a JDM culture inspired custom wrap. Power goals are currently set for 350whp & 300 ft/lb tq. This is a daily driven vehicle, and I drive roughly 50 miles of traffic light infused roads 5 days a week. With that taken into consideration, and what I feel as a gross under representation of auto boxes in the community, I decided to grab the auto box. It's definitely not a PDK, nor a DSG, nor the new 10 speed from GM/Ford, however that being said, it's still a pretty decent little transmission.

Nice BRZ! I like all the carbon fiber additions!

[]Andrew Kluttz

Thanks Chris, I'm a big fan of them as well

[]Jessica Pomerleau

Is that the sti brz or the regular one??

[]Andrew Kluttz

It's the BRZ, they don't make an STI Brz for the USDM market. It has STI style side skirts, rear spatts, and lip however.

[]Jessica Pomerleau

Looks really good, but are you sure? Cuz we have some in Quebec and we're part of the USDM

[]Andrew Kluttz

Yeah I'm positive. They make a WRX STI, but I haven't seen anything about a BRZ still from North America. I have seen some special editions like the TS they are releasing this year.

Everything on my BRZ, was purchased aftermarket.

That hood is floooowing with the car

[]Andrew Kluttz

Right? It really brings the car together. Thanks for the comment!

[]Christopher McDowell EL

No doubt
