More pimp than performance, this smog-era boat has been quite the learning tool for me, as well as the most elegant pizza delivery vehicle in the city of Chicago. From engine knock to varnish in the fuel; a leaky radiator and warm A/C, I've experienced a lot with this car. Reliability is a relative term (everything wears out, right?), but I really do wonder what my experience would have been like if I had just done it "right" in the first place. Current plans are to fluff it up and sell or trade it for something more practical for long commutes. It pains me to see it go, but it taught me that old American iron makes it hard to have your cake and eat it too.
