After an almost head on collision, in my 2003 20th Anniversary Edition Volkswagen GTI, I was left without a vehicle and a broken heart. I had just lost a huge part of me. I know, I've heard the whole deal before, "cars can be replaced, you can't." As much as I am thankful to be alive, i still miss that car. I got just enough money back to pay off the loan and an extra thousand to add to a down payment. I spent a better part of two months looking for a Golf R and even went to a Cadillac dealership in New Jersey to look at one. that turned into a huge mess after the salesman scraped the entire side of it pulling it out for me to test drive and denying that he did anything wrong. Hell bent on getting a golf r come hell or high water I had my mind set and didn't want to test drive anything else. Well about 4 months went by since the accident and I was still out of a vehicle. I decided to to test drive a GTI at a local VW dealership. It was love at first drive, the feel and the power (compared to my last car) it was blowing my mind how comfortable it was. I finally realised what I had been missing. I wound up buying THAT car with just 113 miles on it. since that day I've gotten an intake, exhaust, unitronic stage 2, wheels and air ride, I wouldn't trade this car for the world, love every bit of it. Thanks for reading, stick around to see the latest updates. It's gonna be a wild ride
