The Cheeky Cobalt Had this car since brand new back in 2008. Since then I've had lots of fun drag racing, autocrossing, and road course racing the car.  Best part was always having fun and showing off what the car could do, then meeting the surprised expressions and questions about it afterward. The name "Cheeky Cobalt" came from car and driver during their lightning lap back in '08 when they were totally shocked by the car's performance at VIR. It feels very appropriate.  Left it mostly stock for the first few years, then got a few mods and a Trifecta Tune which helped unleash the cars potential. After a few years of that, did a few more mods and upgraded to HPTuners and the car ran better than ever and surprising power increase too.  I had an unfortunate setback and melted a piston (partially my fault, partially a exhaust shop for bending the exhaust badly and restricting the exhaust causing excessive knock).  I ended up finding a newer engine with less mileage out of a 2010 cobalt ss and swapped it out. The car is running great once again. Feels like a new car.  I will probably keep this car for as long as I can. makes me happy every time I drive it.
