I sold my 1995 Monster Miata after it sat unused in my garage most of the time. Family life and work relegated it to very few hours on the road, so it was time to "grow up" and buy something with a back seat. I purchased this car from the son of the original owner in 2012. It was a pretty stock 1995 Mustang GT with some brake and suspension upgrades. It required a bit of love, and of course I couldn't leave the stock 5.0L alone and ended up building a nice fresh 302 V8 with heads, cam, intake, TB, MAF, exhaust and a tune. It now makes about 100hp more than stock and with the 3.55 gears and the suspension and brake upgrades, it is a great reliable and fun car to drive around. My kids LOVE it and the aftermarket stereo and sub with AC/DC cranked and the kids rocking out in the back seat is pure memory making bliss. I should sell it now that I have the Corvette, but two problems. One, it's pretty much worthless as SN195 Mustangs have not found their place as collector cars yet. Two, I can't fit my two boys in the Corvette with me to make memories. So I think for the time being the Mustang will continue to be a weekend family warrior that brings smiles to entire family.
