About 15 years ago I built a monster miata and slowly improved it with big brakes, roll bar, new paint and roof, more go fast engine parts for the 5.0L and had it almost exactly where I wanted it. Then came the family and the miata sat in the garage. At the time I owned a storage facility and one of my customers was selling his father's 1995 Mustang gt that he had purchased new. It needed a windshield and some tlc, but it had never seen snow and the asking price was worth less than the suspension modifications on the car alone. Most important, it had a back seat so my young boys could enjoy the hobby with me. The miata found a new home and the mods began on the Mustang. The car had bilstien shocks, sway bars, eibach Springs, tubular control arms, baer brakes, flowmaster exhaust, pro5.0 shifter, 3.73 gears, headers, and cobra r wheels when I bought it. I then replaced the yellowing headlights with cobra aftermarket lights and pulled the stock 5.0L. In its place I put a 306 with all the usual bolt on'sincluding heads, intake, throttle body, maf, and a tune. Next up are a few small items this summer, including fixing a leaking water pump and adding some tint. On the wish list is to add a maximum motorsports 5 link and either a blower or really an aluminum block Windsor with over 400 cu in would be Awesome!
