VEHICLE STORY

In the never ending search for the “perfect daily” I have now landed on this. A 2012 Ram 2500 Big Horn with a 6.7 Cummins. Over the years I have traditionally owned more trucks than anything else as they’re very practical and useful. My biggest issue was always space as living in Boston parking is rarely a guarantee. Now that my apartment has the parking needed for a vehicle this large, I sprung for it! It doesn’t help that I was involved in a really bad hit and run in my old Jeep totaling $24,000 in damage, though it wasn’t totalled. The actions of this person cost me thousands of dollars, but I have since moved on and love this truck. I have previously owned a 2004.5 Ram 3500 Laramie dually when I was in the Army and loved the fuel efficiency and the power was fantastic. I had been missing having a diesel truck in my life and this was the fix. I don’t have many plans for this vehicle as it is my daily, but any mods I do will be aiming towards prolonging longevity and reliability, as well as efficiency. All I have plans for as of now are some exhaust work, a tune for increased mpg and transmission tuning for raised line pressure, as well as a rev max valve body to apply this added line pressure coupled with a billet flex plate. Stay tuned for more diesel fun!
