******* !!!!!!!Selling parts off my EVO. Turbo, down-pipe, test-pipe, intercooler, etc. Let me know if there is any interest.!!!!!!**********
YEP! 14-15 on E85, but about .50-.60 cheaper than 91OCT in CA. Better than race gas....$10 per gallon I think.
I'm running a similar setup to you with the same turbo on pump gas. How is it you're making 80+ more whp than me? Got cams? My Evo is makes 400 whp @25 psi.
Wow...I’m responding really late! :/ Yea E85 gives you a lot more. On 91 I would be similar to you. No internals were updated. I just it back to stock 2 weeks ago.
Sometimes I'll drive it hard. The occasional subie, Audi, VW, m3/4 will try to mess with me. :) Mileage is terrible. Maybe 15-19mpg, but the cost is lower than 91....it's about .50 cheaper. Better than race gas though.
If you don't track the car, do you dive it really hard in the street? How many miles on that little tank do you get with E85?
Cobb recommends not going over 400tq. I've been running this setup for 2 years. The only issue was the fuel pump got really dirty. Not sure why..., but Swapped to a double pumper so I could easily replace fuel pump parts.....and I have 1300 injectors...which helps for power.
The guys at AMS say to stay away from E85 because its terrible for the engine and to keep torque under 350 to be safe. But I'd like to try and get more power out of the CBRD turbo. Guys have made similar numbers to you with cams. Not sure if my 1000cc injectors would be enough to make 470ish whp with E85.
Socal Cobb Tuning on Mustang Dyno. I don't race. Would to put on the track.
That's still allot higher than my 400/350 street tune. Are those numbers a street tune? Do you road race the car? Where'd you get it tuned at?
Typo...388tq. I put the second run whp. 464/388 and then 489/377
On stock internals?!? That's allot of torque!
Actually I put estimated crank. It was at 507 at the wheel w/ E85, but had to turn it down due to knock. Currently it's 464 WHP/ 489 TQ on E85.
