I got this car bone stock and automatic with ~130k on the KA24DE in 2013 in Orlando. The first thing that was done to the car was a manual swap, which never served much of a purpose as not even 10 miles were put on the car before the SR went in. The only patches of rust were behind the drivers side mirror, the windshield cowl, and the hatch had a quarter sized hole in it. My father is a professional body man, which is why the car has such a smooth body. The head work and motor build was done by Mazworx. The goal was to restore the car to a point that most people don't typically go to, including the replacement of all the door, hood, and hatch mouldings, new seam sealer, new hood blanket, new carpets, new dash etc. Just about every bolt on this car is new, and no part was cheaped out on aside from the XXRs, which I got for the car as one of its first parts, long before I ever thought that it would come this far. 3 of these chassis have had their parts and bodies cut and welded together to create 2 cars in nice shape. I love the body lines more than most cars I can think of. I plan to own this particular S-chassis for the as long as I possibly can, with the goal of keeping it as a summer street/show car.
