This Mustang first started out with a blown motor and automatic transmission. After converting it to a manual, a mild 289 Windsor was put in place. The car was painted then further modified once the bug of track days took its hold. A 351W was put in after doing some research to find out what was needed for the swap into a 1966 coupe (as a 351 was never an option). After doing some open track days, I was hooked and needed to make the car handle better. With the help of Maier Racing and Street or Track (Thanks Shawn!) parts, I know have the car set up better then I could have imagine for a car that is 50 years old! I recently installed an individual throttle body setup along with a Holley EFI system, the motor is running better than ever! Its amazing what a proper EFI system and tune can do for a motor.
