I started looking for a 2004-2005 STi in World Rally Blue in February of 2015. After scouring Kijiji and auto-trader I thought I found one with the mods that I wanted; Invidia N1 catback, aftermarket intake and and accessport with less than 100k, in late summer. After seeing its disappointing condition I continued the search. After posting a want ad on Kijiji and telling some people that I didn't want a 2011 hatch plasti-dipped blue (like really people) I had a hit. We made the first trip to Edmonton to check out the car. It had just recently been repainted, the rear cv joints had been replaced and the the rear under-body had been painted. We decided not to purchase it at that time and check some stuff out. Checking with the registry we discovered that the car was originally not WRB but silver, hence that the silver trim on the side skirts. Anyways the condition of the car was pretty good for being from 2004 and it was cared for, so I decided to buy it. The car was purchased in early December of 2015 in Edmonton. Beside the mods that were mentioned before it also had a couple more goodie, a water/methanol injection kit, and a new radiator and remote start. Of course as any https://wheelwell.com/v2a/common/svg/edit-pencil.svgcar from the early 2000’s it does have its problems but these are only opportunities to improve the car more.
