This is my 5th Integra and I love these car I bought the car with around 120,000 miles. The previous owner got it from his parents so I'm the third owner. He didn't know much about cars so he left it stock engine wise he did put Type R kit on it. he also installed a set of drag dr20 wheels and some Yokohama S Drive tires. It is a real DC2 GS-R and has the original B18C1 that came in it. The Thundermuff exhaust is the first upgrade i installed cause i had to hear this car. It is an amazing not to "ricey". then I added the VMS Racing distributor and OBX Racing wires along with some NGK spark plugs. Did all this due to car cutting out at high RPM. After fixing all of this the Vtec system stopped working and I found a patch of JB weld that was painted over that had started leaking. I replaced this with the Moroso pan and cleaned all the oil passages and replaced the gaskets/screens for Vtec. Car ran better then ever but at this point I was looking to go faster so I bought an AEM intake for the car. it felt a little stronger after Running at the local drag strip and getting the best time of 15.3 at 89 MPH Im not sure of speed. wasn't to happy as I hoped to be around 14.7 but I do live in Colorado so altitude comes into play. After a street race where I mechanical over revved the engine and bent the exhaust valves, I tore the head off and decided to build this car and make it a project. I replaced all the valve train components using seals and guides from Supertech, pro series springs and retainers from Skunk2 Racing and a set of flat faced valves from Running Strong LLC. Before takung head th machine shop to have it milled a 3 angle valve job and the guides installed I decide to do a minor port and poshish to the intake and exhaust ports. I also did a major polish to the combustion chamber. It's currently not running as it has no tags and I have the Mazda to drive. Waiting on cams and header to finish this stage of the build and see if I can get into the 14s. Future plans are to tare down the block and raise compression by adding some forged P73 Type R pistons. I'll be using factory rod which will be shot peened. Also going to have the entire rotating assembly balanced and lightened. I am wanting to run nitrous on this car as I will only need the.extra power on weekend when the drags have street night. I'll be Using a ZEX nitrous kit to add the power I plan on running a 75 shot. car will also be getting a clutch brake and wire tuck done by me using parts from Finishing Lines, Rywire and Russels Plumbing. While doing the tuck I'll also delete the ABS system. I plan on fishing the cooling system off with a Spoon Sports low temp thermostat, OBX Racing hoses, OPL radiator with 1.3 bar cap, 2 Spal fans and a Password JDM cooling plate. I'll be Using Evans Waterless Coolant. I run Mobil1 oil in the engine and the trans gets full synthetic straight from the local Honda dealership. the brakes I hope to be able to pull off the Legend gs dual piston upgrade and EP3 rear brake upgrade. I'll use Rotors From Password JDM and pad from EBC. OEM brake fluid from Honda and stainless braided lines finish the brakes. suspension I plan to use Blox coil-overs, the complete Ultimate Password JDM suspension with a Beaks tie bar, Blox train arm bearings and BWR subframe brace.the front will be Skunk2 Racing pro series upper and lower control arms. the power steering is deleted using a kit from Finishing Lines. i also took out the entire A/C system. the onterior should go to Type R with the carpet red and gauge cluster. but doing a carbon fiber headliner, Mugen shift know and Blox Short this along with some 1320 Racing shifter bushings. seats will be GS-R rewrapped in new leather and red baseball stitching. I plan on using stereo products from Boss Audio for the system in the car. Led lights for all the interior lighting may go colored but popular where I'm from so may stay white. it will be dyno tuned local on a Hondata S300v3 ECU. want to run a set of Ryver SI 15x8.5 wheelswith Nitto Neo Gen 205/50R15 tires. Also want to try and do a carbon fiber hatch, hood, fenders wing and side skirts. more to come as car progresses with plans to run 12s on spray.
