VEHICLE STORY

I bought this car brand new August of 2010. It started life as an automatic GT. But as of 2016, I swapped in an MT82 and opened up the pocket book on modifications. I had thought of getting a 15' manual when they first came out, before swapping in a manual into mine. I just couldn't get over how much the nose of the new mustangs remind me of a bird's head. Plus, they just feel porky. After swapping in the manual, the gloves have been off and I've just been adding and adding to the car. I was going for a max effort normally aspirated build, but was introduced to a really good deal on a procharger stage II kit. After some tuning on winter gas, the car made 625rwhp and 484lbft tq @ 9lbs of boost. It's now running a smaller pulley and produces about 13lbs of boost. No dyno numbers yet.

Given the master cylinder being different between S197 and S550, do you see any downsides with the new brakes after heavy use?

Sorry, I didn't see this comment. I've not experienced any issues with using the S197 master cylinder. I did have concerns, but the folks at FTBR put my concerns at ease and they weren't wrong. The brakes feel utterly amazing. I put them through their paces not that long ago and they were phenomenal.
