Got the car with 170,000 miles on it. All that was on it was a cold air intake and an exhaust w/ downpipe all catless. Took it to get a tune so it'd be a little more spunky. Well after a couple months of owning it I got it on the dyno with a Cobb accessport V3 and it threw what we thought was a rod (ended up being a bearing). So we decided to take this to put in a JDM engine. Took forever for the shop to put it in then on the next tune they said this supposedly 40,000 mile engine had low compression... and then they said the company denied they sold it to them so that was just money down the drain. The next step was to rebuild the old usdm engine. So we got it rebuilt, new crank, new pistons, cleaned and honed etc.. I also decided to modify it a little more.
