VEHICLE STORY

I bought this car just before 2016 ended (Dec 30, 2016). I came off owning a 240sx, looked for something similar but with more comfort which made me decide on a 350z. I’ve always wanted one since I was a kid so the day I bought it was a dream come true. So when I was 18 looking for my next RWD car I stumbled upon this 350z. I brushed it off saying “it’s auto, that’s lame.” Although at the time the only manual Z’s for sale were all overpriced from dealerships (you know how that goes) or riced out. I also had this chronic back pain and got diagnosed with sciatica. With the nerve in my left leg being pinched at my lower back it made it painful to clutch in especially if I have to do it repeatedly and here on Oahu there’s lots of traffic so it’s a very repetitive thing to do. I only really noticed how uncomfortable it was after driving my parents truck to University after I sold my 240sx. So after some thought I decided to pull the trigger on the Z I brushed off earlier. Its been very good to me as I have been to it, and without having to clutch in a lot on my daily driver my back pain isn’t as bad as before but it’s still relevant as of right now. I hope on moving to a different state or country where i can apply my Z onto a track and then I’ll do the manual swap, but on Oahu it’s rare to find a good transmission since it’s not like the mainland where I can road trip for car parts. So as of right now my main goal is to have a good looking, comfortable daily that can put a smile on my face.
