This is actually my second 86/Twin. I'll start with the first. The car prior to this was a 2015 Scion FR-S. Same setup, just that it was a Scion. I had the car all done up, more so than this one. Wheels/Tires/Carbon Fiber, etc. I let a coworker of mine drive it one day when we were going to lunch. We were going around a corner, and he hit the gas and the wheels broke loose and hit two parked cars. Totaled. From that car, I was able to salvage the supercharger & exhaust. Lost the intercooler, coilovers, etc. From there, I was deciding what to do next. I moved down to Baltimore about a year ago, with little to no money to my name, no job, no place to stay. I ventured out, finally found a decent job, got a place, and got the FR-S. I joined a club in the DMV area, called Mid Atlantic 86. Since then, I've had the best memories and made a ton of friends. I couldn't just let it all end like that, because of an accident. So what did I do? I bought another one. The few things I found the FR-S was lacking were all optioned out on a limited BRZ. Heated seats/mirrors, dual climate control, HID lights w/ boomerangs, etc. So, I went and checked out a BRZ. About this time, the Series.HyperBlue was released, and with only 500 being made, I was installed drawn to the exclusivity. 1 week after the accident, I was in the BRZ. It wasn't long before I had my old parts back on. As I continue my build, I'm not quite sure where it'll take me. I'd like to try out AutoCross, not for the competitiveness of it, just for the fun. I also want to show the car. I have ambitions for a wide body kit soon enough, but we will see where we stand as time goes on. Build looks good man! One of the first builds to catch my attention since joining Wheelwell. Those Victory Function fenders look better on your BRZ's color than most others. Look forward to seeing more progress!
