The RSX is my daily driver. There are definitely times when the lack of power gets depressing, but I'm trying to stick to aesthetic and handling mods. I have a real engine build going for another car, so I need to resist temptation and keep this one stock and reliable so I can get around. Unless it requires welding or some other skill I don't yet possess (...which is pretty much just welding, body work, and owning a big enough press to separate/join certain parts), I'm proud to say I do all my own work. There's a photo in there of the car on a flatbed with oil flowing down underneath. A spider gear in the diff broke somehow and blew a hole in the bottom of the transmission, resulting in me having to swap out the gearbox in the dead of winter. Other work tends not to be so bad, but as the car had previous ownership on the east coast, there's some rust and bolts have had to be cut off the car. For the distant future, there are a few more body pieces I'm after, some wider wheels, and a respray in a special red. I won't spoil/jinx the details now. If the engine ever dies on me, a TSX K24A2 will be swapped in, plus bolt-ons and a tune; staying auto isn't for sure, but I do prefer it in traffic.
