For those unfamiliar, the car is a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta GLI Edition30 (commemorating 30 years of the GLI). The trim level is “Autobahn + Nav,” orin other words, fully loaded (OEM nav, bi-xenons, DRLs, etc.). I’ve had the carsince new (built March 2014, picked up 20 days after assembly, 12 miles atdelivery). Since then, I’ve done 29k miles and I’ve loved it since. I treat the car incredibly well (never seen a machine wash, never seen anything short of 93octane, oil changes every 5k miles, two stage paint correction, full front nose clearbra). There is 35% tint all the way around and a 5% tint strip on the topof the windshield. Living in Northeastern Ohio you need snow wheels/tires (especially on a FWD drive car). Even though we are having the mildest winter of the century (it hadn’t snowed all season until the day I took these photos), I still threw on the snow setup just incase. I run 16” OEM VW steel wheels (which I affectionately refer to as “steelies”) paired withBridgestone Blizzak LM-32 snow tires (205/50R16V). In the summer I run the 18”OEM VW Laguna alloys (specific to the Edition 30) wrapped in Michelin Pilot SuperSport tires (225/40ZR18). In addition to the extra set of wheels/tires, I’ve got another set of front & rear OEM VW chrome license plate frames reading“Das Auto” as the salt corrodes them very easily. I just swap them out when I swap the wheels. Mechanically speaking, I’ve got an APR StageI ECU tune/flash on the car boosting the horsepower from 210bhp to 262bhp and the torque from 207lbs ft to 303lbs ft. This also boosts MPG big time. I’ve found I can attain EPA Ratings (and then some) while “hooning” and driving aggressively, which is pretty cool. In addition, I’ve got an AWE Track Edition Catback exhaust system boosting horsepower to 286bhp and torque to 326lbs ft.There is also a P3Cars integrated vent gauge on the driver side that measures0-60, 0-100, 100-130, 100-0, 60-0, ¼ mile, boost pressure, various temperatures, and a shift light. Future mechanical/engine modifications include the APR Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) transmission control unit (TCU) tune/flash,a Brembo big brake kit w/ Hawk HPS pads, and maybe the APR carbon fiber intake(it sounds a bit ricey to me, thus, I’m on the fence). Police proofing & countermeasures: 1. Valentine One (V1) radar/laser detector (custom swept w/ color concealed display) 2.  k40 g5 laser defuser/jammer (two heads, one in front lower honeycomb and the other on the rear license plate frame. See photos). 3.  LaserXanti-laser plate shield on front and back. 4.  Uniden BCT-125AT mobile handheld scanner. 5.  Uniden BCD-996P2 desktop scanner. 6.  Uniden Home Patrol II Phase 2 scanner 7.  Cobra 29LX 40-channel CB radio (w/ Larsen 49" antenna) Navs: 1. I saw the Storm Nav 3 and it immediately reminded me of polizei144! Nice one.

Also how were you able to mount those NMO's with the double layered sheet metal in the way? That's pretty clean.
