After a very big moment in the summer of 2015 impacted my life, I looked for an outlet of sorts. With the love for cars I have I decided to start looking to build one. In September 2015 I stumbled across a N/A 1983 Datsun 280ZX a family friend was selling. 2 weeks later it was mine. After about a month or so of getting rid of a bogging issue and taking the cheap average teenager way of fixing it up, I was hit from the side by another driver which slammed it into a rail. After a couple months of fighting with insurance companies, I finally got the money for buy another. My parts guy for the non turbo had just picked up a non running turbo version and on January 2nd, 2016 she was mine. It took a lot more time and effort into doing what I've done to this Z, but it feels so much better doing it right. I totally overhauled the L28ET by Anderson Automotive Machine shop on 1st street in ABQ, NM. Had the body dents removed and car painted KH2 Gun Grey Metallic from a R32 Skyline GTR. I redid the interior myself, all black now instead of tan and brown. Dash was Linex-ed. I currently have CXRACING 's 3" piping and 4.5" muffler cat back exhaust as well as their 3"piping front mount Intercooler. Greddy's FV BOV was added to the intercooler piping. I have Oside Tiger's 850cc injectors which are E85 compatible. E85 flex fuel conversion maybe after the summer. Megasquirt' MS2 based MicroSquirt was added as the new engine management along with a coil pack conversion to get rid of the distributor which caused many problems. A Mishimoto oil catch can was added in the PCV line to help reduce blow by.Stock Garrett/Air Research T3 (tb03) turbo now set at 12 psi
