VEHICLE STORY

I've always wanted a full-size truck and here in Arizona they are nothing short of invaluable. But watch out, as soon as your family and friends know that you have one they start lining up to use it. After owning a Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier I was ready for "prime time". More power, more space, more payload, more everything. When I finally found this 2008 Toyota Tundra SR5 Crew Cab sitting at one of my local dealerships I made my move and haven't regretted one moment. This truck is ultra reliable. So far the only maintenance I've had to perform was to replace: starter, battery, spark plugs, air filter, oil, oil filter, rear differential fluid, tires, and brakes. Pretty common and basic stuff. I really couldn't ask for a better truck. With that said, not everything is perfect. I hate that the transmission can't be drained and filled properly without a shop manual and that there's no dipstick. That just sucks!! And the interior (while very spacious in the Crew Cab model) is rather boring to look at. No WOW factor at all!! Overall I couldn't be happier with my purchase and I would definitely consider another Tundra in the future (although I would make sure to install a TRD Supercharger next time around).
