Bought from a Friend, that was working in the oil Field's he was the second owner he bought at 75,000 miles from the original owner, and the original owner had kept all maintenance records with the vehicle up until the day he sold it and the records were kept in it until sold, story short when i bought i have maintenance records from the Original owner and josh (Friend 2nd owner) until date i bought vehicle i have all records for oil changes tires lube jobs etc, the car was kept EXCELLENT condition inside and out. few dings and scrapes headlights fogged over ETC normal ware and tear for a Vehicle of its age. the 4.0L V6 is strong as every Transmission feels good smooth shifts never has any problems, but i do have to replace a linkage in the shifter on the steering column because sometimes it will not Engage park correctly and it will roll forward or backwords if you do not get it seated correctly in PARK. so that is the Story of my 1997 Ford Explorer, also i paid a Grand Total of $500.00 for it and a title Transfer fee of $123.18 and insurance of $53.11 a month for it.
