I chose this part because it was cost effective enough to add to my car.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
It was the first time I have heard of Nashin. I have heard of Wilwood, and it was in my initial build, but then the price really was a head scratcher for me, and it would not have made sense to have a 6 pot caliper with huge rotors on my commuter car.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
I had the shop install it because I didn't know how to bleed the brakes, when I saw what they did it took about 2 hours which was fairly quick.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
The product is great. The pedal feel is superb as well as the stopping power compared to stock.
Nashin is a company based in Taiwan. I was looking for a big brake kit that would complement my car's size well. I would have gone overkill with a six piston caliper and rotor set from Willwood but then I went for a more cost effective option with these Nashins.
The two pot design and bigger surface area for the pad helps a lot. As well as the slotting in the rotors which is done nicely and not too over the top and aggressive. I like the red of these calipers and they really pop when put behind my 17 inch SSRs.
