Who doesn't like a Widebody? Especially a factory Widebody? All metal, no plastic or fiberglass filler here. All sharp angles, wedge body, pop up headlights and bulbous fenders. The 1980's are here. Party of one. This is a 1988 Chrysler Conquest TSi 5 Speed in "Durban Maroon". A single year color that was only available on the Conquest and not the Starion. This is my 5th attempt at owning a "StarQuest". If you're familiar with these cars, you know how hard it is to find one that's either clean or just saveable. These cars seem to have been made out of compressed rust. This one falls into the "saveable" category. It looks rough, has had questionable mods and work done to it in the past and has been sitting for over 10 years. "Ran when parked." (Yeah, right). Floor boards are solid and the rust usually found infesting these things seems to be pretty light, so I'm going to give this one a go. Plan is to get it running, looking decent, mild mods and to restore it as best as I can. The G54B isn't exactly a monster power house, so I'm not chasing huge HP numbers here. I just want to get this thing back on the road and preserve some good old fashioned 80's era Japanese RWD Turbo goodness. Even if it says "Chrysler" on the title. Let's be about it, shall we?
