Tell us the story behind your ride. What made you pick this particular one? Where did you find it? I have owned 8 e36's in life.   I love them but never had the perfect one.  Well this 99k texas shell came up for sale with a buddy of mine and I jumped.  95 Avus blue my favorite color and just so clean.  I then did another thing I wanted to do.  S52 OBD1 converted.  Gives me less emissions stuff and cheaper tuning options.  3 months later she was running.  It'll never be done but she is truly my dream car. Describe the modifications you've made. Where did you start,  what’s the most recent mod and what motivated it? Where should I start.  97 S52 OBD1 converted, interior from a 99 coupe, ground control koni struts and rear mounts, h&r springs, xbrace, m50 manifold, 21.5 injectors, 3.5 intake and maf, tune, s52 headers, aa exhaust and track pipe, body mounted short shifter, depo headlights with e46 projectors, many more too when I think of them.  All the mods I have wanted to do are being done. Of all the mods you’ve made, which do you think offers the biggest bang for the buck? Cliqtuning ssk or light weight flywheel both completely transform the car  How did you go about selecting the specific parts for this build? Any installation tips to share? Browse forums.  I have worked on these long enough knew what I wanted but there is tons of info on there. What are you planning next? Windshield ac and winter fine tuning.  Eventually Forced induction but thats a ways off What’s been the biggest challenge with this build? Time and really searching for what I want and trying to stay in budget
