This is my wife's 1946 CJ-2A. https://imgur.com/a/riCR8 1946 CJ-2A. Wife's grandfather purchased it brand new after he graduated high school. Stories say he drove it from Bonaparte, IA to Southern California in the late 40s. Spent a couple decades as a snow plow before we got it. We started working on it in 2001 but funding, new job out of state, and family have delayed any progress. My dad felt bad about it sitting in his buildings and put new brakes on it and had it running a couple years ago. We are arranging to get it back in our garage in the next year so we can start working on it again. Currently needs: Frame up restoration. More immediate plans: Engine tune up. New brake lines. New bushings. Engine/trans/diff/radiator fluid change. New seats. Mods planned: Heater Roll bars Canvas top Interesting items: Her grandma still had what we believe is the original manual that came with the Jeep.
