What made you choose this particular product?
I wanted a pool ball shift knob... I also wanted to make one myself. Watson's is a pool/game room supply store and sells old pool balls individually for $4 each.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
I have purchased a few other pool balls from this store before.. I only wanted singles and didn't want to purchase a whole set.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
The ball was a little difficult to drill. I stepped the drill bits up in size until I got to the desired size. I used a lot of lube to keep the drill bit cutting and keep the temperature down. Then I threaded the ball and poof.... Shift knob
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Some people say the ball is to big. But I have giant hands and I like it so ......
Any additional comments?
Start with a really small drill bit get it as straight as possible. I put the ball on an old roll of electrical tape to hold it. The tap I used was an M12 1.25 and it says on the package to use a 27/64 drill bit. All in I had $18 in it. I could have bought one for about $15 online but now I can make as many as I want.
