Tell us the story behind your ride. What made you pick this particular one? Where did you find it? Bought this car in 2010 when I was almost 17 years old. Needed paint, but it was my first car. Interior was near flawless, really the main selling point. I found this particular one in Louisville, KY and I picked it because it was in my price range and I wanted a coupe. At first, all I wanted to do was paint it and sell it to get a 350Z. I joined "6thgenaccord.com" and this quickly made my decision to keep the car. Now that I have owned it almost 7 years, it has gone through a lot. It is no longer an J30a1 Automatic, it is now a J32a2 6-Speed. More on this later. Tons more modifications as well Describe the modifications you've made. Where did you start, what’s the most recent mod and what motivated it? I have done a lot here. We will just start at the front of the vehicle. First thing you will see, is the not stock headlights. These are retrofitted by myself using Morimoto Mini H1 Projectors and a Morimoto HID kit. Next, we have a genuine, discounted OEM Honda Lip Kit. This took the longest time to source. The car is lowered on BC Racing Coilovers and sitting on some Rotiform NUE Wheels. Interior remains mostly stock for now. Only thing that has changed is an AP1 S2000 Steering Wheel and an aftermarket Sony radio. Going to the back, we have a rare set of EDM coupe tailights, Progress Rear Sway bar, and the rear genuine OEM Lip. Going to the engine, it used to be a J30a1 Automatic. It is now a J32a2 out of an Acura CL Type S and this is mated to an 03 Accord 6-Speed Transmission. Of all the mods you’ve made, which do you think offers the biggest bang for the buck? How did you go about selecting the specific parts for this build? Any installation tips to share? I did quite a bit of research about most parts and researching the forums and Facebook groups. What are you planning next? Who knows at this point, I'm sure I'll think of something insane What’s been the biggest challenge with this build? Getting the swap up and running and working out the little things that come with an engine swap and an auto to manual swap.
