Alright so this is the story behind my 240z, its a July 1971 car that had been totaled in 2001 and sat in a junk yard until 2014. In 2007 the car had a major restoration that was done by an inexperienced shop who absolutely butchered the car, When I purchased the car none of the wiring worked, all of the shocks were blown and the brakes were dodgy as hell, and the icing on the cake was that it didn't have a title either. There were a few good points to the car though, the engine had been rebuilt by a Z shop in northern California and it had a 280zx FS5W71B 5 speed transmission, an E12-80 electronic distributor and the turbo snowflake wheels from a 280zx as well. I've owned the car for just over 3 years now and haven't been able to do much with it except some light body work, electrical restoration and get the car its title back but otherwise not much else has been done. After the few years of saving money for parts and sorting my life I'll finally be able to get this car on the road again with some really cool parts and the help of some awesome people.
