I bought this truck on a whim because my wife and I had just traded in our 2011 Honda Accord and 2010 Toyota 4Runner SE in for a New 2013 Tahoe.  This left me without a car so I bought this Disco II from a work friend. Had very low mileage for the year and ran great, minus the common Land Rover electrical issues (i.e. the Three Amigo lights).  Although the drive train was all time AWD, the 4WD drive didn't work.  I believe it was seized up from never being used.  I mean, this is Texas, no one uses 4WD unless you work in the oil field.  Sadly, I didn't have the truck long enough to try to repair the 4WD portion as I traded this for the Acura Vigor only a few months later.  But again, I only bought the truck because I had no other options at the time.  It wasn't really my first choice.  LR's are cool, but too dang complicated and expensive for my liking.
