This is my first car, bought soon after I acquired my licence at 17. Four years later, I am still turning it into my ultimate interpretation of a driver's car, focusing on communicative controls and responsive, agile dynamics. Suspension mods include stiffer springs, dampers, and sway bars, polyurethane bushings all around, and a reinforced subframe. Front alignment is slightly cambered out while rear toe-in is minimized. Weight is down to 2680 lbs after removing the interior, stereo and harness, air conditioning, and power steering. No composite body panels... yet! Future plans include a 6-point cage, passenger-side racing bucket and harness, and a gradual move to delrin bushings or spherical bearings where possible in the suspension.
