        My fiance and I made the decision to purchase this 2004 Mazda RX8 back in July. I always wanted a full car to enjoy on the weekends, that I would also be able to take to the track when I wasn't feeling like towing my race car to the track.  I found the car at the local stealership after a quick web search on craigslist. Originally I only intended on seeing how the car drove, more importantly to see if I'd fit in the damn thing. Because I do not fit in and S2000 (Steering wheel sits on my knees....).  After test driving it, I knew I needed to have one. So I spent the next day finding local RX8s for sale. I test drove a few, however none of them were anywhere near as clean. This car came in the best paint option avaiable, Velocity Red Mica, and had never seen a winter. There are some minor interior flaw like the missing plastic tab for the seat adjuster. However short of having the floor mats still wrapped in plastic. The rest of the interior was in showroom condition, still had the new car smell! As of right now there are a few things I plan on doing to it. First is putting a new clutch in, the one it came with has started to slip a bit. Then I will be replacing the Kumho SPT tires with something stickier and upgrading the brakes with Hawk Pads and Goodrige Stainless Brake Lines. Down the road maybe some Koni Shocks or Coilovers.
