It all started with an ad on Craigslist.  I saw the beauty I'd longed for earlier in life.  It was a decent price and I had fresh tax return money burning a whole in my pocket so I replied..  An hour drive, 2 hour ferry trip, 30 minute bus ride & short walk later, we found ourselves at a shotty old house in Vancouver  with more security on its door than bank.   10 minutes later I was driving my new audi while trying to figure out why the rear window had a mind of its own!  It's been an adventure ever since!  XD
