Tell us the story behind your ride. What made you pick this particular one? Where did you find it? I picked this up on October 2 of 2017. I have wanted an IROC since I was a little kid. I found this one sitting in a garage in McKeesport. The owner was looking to clear space for other vehicles and he hadn't driven the car in several years.  It was the best one I could afford in my area, and one of only a few owners that actually responded to my inquiries. I know it looks a little rough, but the interior is in REALLY good shape, and it's actually only got 43,000 miles on the clock! (It just sat outside a large portion of its life, hence the sun-baked paint) Describe the modifications you've made. Where did you start,  what’s the most recent mod and what motivated it? I haven't done much yet. Installed a Viper security system and a Kenwood media receiver and speakers. Besides that, I haven't done much. A previous owner, however, had done a fair bit of work. 22lb injectors, BBK throttle body, aluminum heads, camshaft and a full exhaust system, headers back. I suspect there's been some transmission work, but I'm not sure. Of all the mods you’ve made, which do you think offers the biggest bang for the buck? I really haven't done much aside from basically fix broken stuff. The radio was replaced because it didn't work. I added the security system mostly because I wanted keyless entry. How did you go about selecting the specific parts for this build? Any installation tips to share? I've always liked Kenwood audio products. While not the absolute best on the market I feel they provide really good sound quality at a reasonable price. What are you planning next? My plans include continuing to fix stuff that's wrong and/or broken, but not until springtime when the weather starts to warm up again. Up for replacement are the front seats and seatbelts, the weatherstripping around the doors and T-tops. Sometime next spring or summer I plan to repaint the car, though I'll have someone else do that. What’s been the biggest challenge with this build? Finding the right tools to do the work. I had to replace the voltmeter in the car and it requires a 5.5mm socket. Who the hell has a 5.5mm socket?!

Do you plan on doing something to it

As of now, my plans are to paint it, maintain it, and drive it. Paint will probably happen this Spring.
