I bought My 2003.5 E46 M3 in March, 2012. When I bought it, it was 100% stock. I wasn't very familiar with the E46 M3, but when I was test driving vehicles, I fell in love with this car. After several E46 M3 test drives, I found a solid one. A Titanium Silver, 6spd manual, with 95k on the odometer. A friend of mine at work also had an E46 M3, and he had done many modifications to it. I thought to myself, modding wouldn't be something I would do. I originally wanted to keep it stock, but after reading forums, and internet searching, watching videos and reading articles and such, I got the mod bug. First I made sure my maintenance was up to par, and really focused on that. Then I got wheels, tires, and short shifter, a tune, brakes, coilovers, exhaust, and many interior and exterior aesthetics things to make it more personal and stand out a little. After several years of saving money, I purchased the ESS Tuning VT2 525 supercharger kit. It's been a blast to not only familiarize myself with this amazing car, but to get emotionally involved with it. It turns heads every day, and always gets compliments, which makes me smile knowing that others can enjoy seeing a car they love drive by them. I have tracked it only once, mainly because I don't have the time, but also because its my daily driver. I plan to hold on to her forever, and when I have a 2nd vehicle, make it my track car. Currently has 167,000 miles and counting. Engine running flawlessly.
