When I was 9yrs old my uncle purchased a 1987 190e 2.3-16v new from Palmer Motors in LB, CA. As a kid the car looked cool and the performance at the time was mind blowing for my self. Growing up we had a lot of Mercedes Benz Models with in the family but nothing look hot rodded like this did. I made a promise to my self that one day I will own one... after owning BMW's Audi's and a VW I started to get bored and wanted something unique and old. For 5 years I have searched periodically for a 190e 16v. In 2011 I found a eurospec 16v with out the following options, sunroof, power windows, power seats, no radio, no AC, cloth interior. This car was a grey market import that I could not pass up. Now I own the 16v and have been refining its performance ever since. The goal is to apply new technology in an old car.
