I purchase this car certified pre-owned in January 2017. Since then, I have done things like 91 tune, cold air intake, etc. I am currently making 175 whp (Dynojet) in my automatic tC. If you couldn't tell already by the pictures, I love driving through mountains/canyon roads. With the current set up, the car handling is nice. Currently my plan for this car is to make it into the ultimate daily. Something I can drive daily and occasionally tear up the mountain roads with. 1.)Tell us the story behind your ride. What made you pick this particular one? Where did you find it? I been in love with tCs ever since the first model was release in 2005. During that time, I was in middle school. Even though I was not old enough to drive, I made it my dream to own a tC some day. That day soon came in January 2017 (12 years later). When I heard Toyota discontinued the Scion brand, I went into my local dealership and traded in my 2014 Corolla S. I end up finding a tC, which was in the exact color and condition I desired. I love this car and never been happier. I'm happy that I won't be a person who will regret never owning their dream car. 2.)Describe the modifications you've made. Where did you start, what’s the most recent mod and what motivated it? So far in the one year of me owning this car, I have done more than 20 modifications. To be honest, I am just getting started. The first things I did to the car was window tint and add an Borla exhaust. Shortly after those two mods, I caught the mod bug. Mostly because I discovered the fun in mountain and canyon driving. I most recently upgraded my rotors and pads. I am currently running StopTech slotted rotors and EBC redstuff pads. Most of my current mods are directed towards spirit driving. 3.)Of all the mods you’ve made, which do you think offers the biggest bang for the buck? Of all the mods I have done, I believe that TB Performance Mid-Chassis Brace and OrangeVirus Tuning handheld tuner offer the biggest bang for the buck. The TB Performance Mid-Chassis Brace is just plain out amazing. The brace has done such a great job stiffing up the front end and increasing my cornering speed. I have found the OrangeVirus Tuning handheld tuner to be the best horsepower per dollar mod for naturally aspirated tCs. It is well worth the money. I would highly recommend the chassis brace as a must-buy suspension mod and the handheld tuner as a must-buy performance mod. 4.)How did you go about selecting the specific parts for this build? Any installation tips to share? Behind every modification done to my car, research was involve. I have never purchase anything without searching for write-ups or reviews. The internet should be your best friend when searching for specific parts or attempting an installation. Most odds are that someone have already done the homework. All you have to do is go find it on the internet. 5.)What’s been the biggest challenge with this build? The biggest challenge with this built so far has been the recent size of the aftermarket community. The aftermarket support for this car is just not as big as it use to be. 6.)What are you planning next? I am planning on getting custom headlights made for my car next. I want them to have switchback halos - which function as both daytime running lights and blinkers. Also, I am planning on buying a front lip and side skirts. To be honest, I don't think I will stop modifying my car until I complete my mod wish list. Currently I am about half way through the list. My car will definitely look different by the end of this year. ( UPDATE: Just completed the custom headlight project!!! DATE: April 30, 2018)

Around how much whp did you get from the orange virus tune? I just bought it my handheld from them.

Where’d you get the banner?

[]Jerome Hayes

Amazon. I am actually about to take it off. It started to discolor and turn brown. The banner quality isn't the problem, the automatic car wash I went to made it turn. I had the banner on my car for a year and never had a issue until I went through the wash. smh.

Are you going to replace it?

[]Jerome Hayes

Don't know yet.

[]Kenny Schmidt

Very nice TC with tasteful mods. I'm in the process of modding mine, haven't done much yet. Some mods you have are what I intend on doing as well.

[]Tom Armstrong

Nice! I dont see many of these around any more
