VEHICLE STORY

This is my second G8.  I owned an exact copy of this car which I purchased in 2013.  I loved it.  I had just started tweaking it- added Magnaflow axle backs, and a Vararam up front- when I lost my job of 7 years.  I had to sell and it is definitely one I wish I'd have been able to keep.  That car was flawless.  I had vision for a Magnacharger and ported cylinder heads, along with a forged rotating assembly.  But I had to be a repsonsible grown up and sell it.   This car was bought in a moment of weakness.  I was actually at a dealership in Crestview, FL ready to pull the trigger on a Chevy Avalanche.  I noticed the G8 on the inventory list and asked to see it.  Upon first site I thought it was my old car!  I bought it the same day.   I was so glassy eyed with "got my baby back" that I didn't notice the headlinser was trashed, or the clouded headlights, or even detect the valve train noise indicating the DoD to be failing...  I'm more than likel going to trade this car for a 14+ SS Camaro, unless I can get a good deal on a Chevy SS.   I've since made some additional mods to the car. The new picture is from a track day at Road Atlanta, November 2016. I ran the event with MVP Track Time, and it's an awesome group. Six twenty minute sessions each day for days, and the cost was just over $200 each day. MVP runs events around the country, and cost varies with the track. Made some pretty significant changes for the track day...
