I purchased this car in July of 2009, the summer before my junior year of college. It was built on 11/28/1994, one of 21 cars that left the factory that day. It is the 3,574th US E36 M3 ever produced, and one of 694 produced in Dakar Yellow with Black Nappa Leather. It was delivered with the power sunroof and 18-button OBC options. I purchased this car in Newport VA with 142,000 miles from someone who had purchased it in Florida the year prior. The car now has ~190,000 miles nearly nine years later, has seen tons of autocrosses, served as a sandwich delivery car, moving van, faithful(ish) commuter, and eventually weekend cruiser. It has given me countless priceless memories, taught me how to work on cars, and introduced me to hundreds of people I never would've met if I hadn't bought it. It's been a project since day 1, I've slowly been replacing, repairing and improving everything I can as time, money and sanity allows.

Had a 99.... check that clutch fan... they go bad and it will leave you on the shoulder... nice car

Thanks! I have an electric fan conversion, I got sick of losing blades from the OEM ones!

Good idea... the coolant systems across the board is a weak link... just be glad you own the last of the real bmws

Very nice, love this style of M3!

Yellow was always the best color for the M3
