I purchased this car a few months after graduating college in 2013, and so far I've been very happy with it. I had my eye on a TL for a few years and I also knew that I wanted a manual transmission, so it took quite a bit of searching before I finally found a well-treated example that also happened to be the highest-end trim for this model. Best decision I've made in a while. While it is front-wheel-drive and relatively heavy, it has plenty of power for some back-road and highway fun. The transmission is very precise and satisfying to pop into gear, although the clutch is what I would describe as finicky (it takes some getting used to). My plan is to implement a few tasteful mods to improve handling characteristics and squeeze a little bit more power out of the bright, peppy engine. Overall, I am in love with this car.
