Tell us the story behind your ride. What made you pick this particular one? Where did you find it? -Back in 2004  lived in NC and was broke. One day my wife told me she saw a Torino for sale like my old one(1973) right around the corner from our house. We drove over an bought it for 500 bucks. It was a 200 inline six that ran pretty good but I had no money to put it on the rode so it just sat. A couple years later we moved and the car sat again but this time in NY. For like 7 years under a portable garage this car just rotted away. A buddy threw a challenge my way and the car got slapped together for the last car shown in our area of the year. It made it to the show and a bunch of cruise nights the following year until it lost oil pressure and got taken back apart. Describe the modifications you've made. Where did you start,  what’s the most recent mod and what motivated it? - Tons of stuff over the years, three different motors, a spool in the rear, a few different wheels, different colors, and lots of bondo. Of all the mods you’ve made, which do you think offers the biggest bang for the buck? - The spool in the rear was the most fun unless you wanted to steer while going slow. I had bypassed the power steering and removed the pump so its a bear to fin in tight spots. How did you go about selecting the specific parts for this build? Any installation tips to share? - junk yards, swap meets and craigslist. What are you planning next? -So the new plan is to drop in a 5.0 and 5spd. lower the car and stiffen the hell out of it. Big brakes and swaybars so it will corner better. What’s been the biggest challenge with this build? -time
