What made you choose this particular product?
What were you trying to accomplish by adding this product?
Turning a turbocharged car off after a heavy load results in oil being cooked inside the very hot turbos. After time this can cause the shaft which connects the turbine to the impeller to wear out and cause oil leak within the turbo. This condition is why older turbo cars tend to burn oil. To mitigate this happening it’s good practice to allow the engine to run long enough after stopping to let the oil cool the turbos to normal operating temperature. A turbo timer allows to engine to continue to run after you pull the key out for a set amount of minutes or seconds. In short it is an item of convenience.
