ANDROID!!!!!! Finally.... and thank you!
I had hoped the app would be faster than the web, but alas, my distance is probably the problem.
Where does it feel slowest for you?
Initial loading of the app/website can take anything from 8-15 seconds for me. And typing in comments I also beheft with a small delay, making typos common and the typing feel sluggish.
Opening garage page and checking post notifications for me.
Okay thanks, we'll see what we can do!
Thank you! The app works great otherwise! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Sooooo happy!!!
Haha, your welcome, we're glad it here too! Get all your friends using it - it'll be the fastest way we can prioritize making it better!
I agree with you. A tad bit more optimization and it'll be great! I don't really mind all that much I'm just happy to have the app.
I went to Ottawa this weekend to see some of the events going down for Canada's 150th and visit my
Update: The technic... The mechan... The PEOPLE at CT blew another coolant line while test driving it today (not their fault tbh), but they say the engine is in operable condition. This isn't my first time with issues with the coolant hoses, but it's never been this bad before. Lucy just has to live long enough for me to get a job and make enough money to fix the Fiero or get a better car (not exactly a high bar if I'm being honest). My fingers are crossed.
Fingers crossed for ya!
Did you see any loose hoses? It's not that unusual for coolant hoses to pop off or start leaking. Hopefully it's not a head gasket, but if it is, usually you can just replace the gasket and it's pretty rare with warped heads.
Yup. That's what happened. One of the coolant hoses broke off while I was on the highway. The temperature sensor needs to be replaced as well (it was already failing). It isn't going to be cheap and the repairs wont be done until later tomorrow.
Are you doing it yourself or at a dealership? It's usually not too hard to replace coolant hoses and a sensor, unless they're placed in a dumb spot.
It's a GM car, so everything is in a dumb spot. No I had it towed to the nearest shop so its at a Canadian Tire (if you can even call it a shop). Didn't have much of a choice though. I'll be asking my teachers how to do these kinds of repairs when I get back to Toronto though.
Gah! Letting Canadian Tire do anything is a gamble at best! I don't think there has been a single time I've had to take a car there for an emergency repair that hasn't been botched. Hopefully you got the car stopped before the motor got hurt. And I know what you mean about everything being in a lousy place on GM's. My friend couldn't figure out how to change the headlight bulb in his Malibu. Turns out the whole front bumper and headlight assemblies had to be removed just to change a bulb! Good luck and keep us updated!
Ya... I don't like taking my car there but I had no choice. That Malibu sounds like a pain. I love GM cars (mostly just Pontiacs) but they are, I dare say, not well designed, maintinence-wise at least. There are about 15 lightbulbs on the exterior of the Aveo. Who the hell designs a car like that? Every month I have to replace a bulb or two, and that's the smallest issue I have with that little car. I plan on selling once I get the money, then the real modding can begin!
I love having a small car, so I can do this to people who double park in the front of a mostly empt

Don't know how to comment on the actual post but if the battery and alternator are fine it could be that stereo that doesn't work is draining the battery. My dad's 75' GMC stereo had to be unplugged it was draining the battery when it sat.
I sold the Fiero today for scraps after an electrical fire. :( very sad about it.

Eletrical fire happen today too? How did that happen?
Was trying to start it a week ago. Bad wiring led to a bad fire. Salvaged what I could but it was done. Saving up for my next one. I'm looking to do a rotary swap for the next car.
Dang that sucks, hope you find a good one
With the way my finances are at the moment, It'll be a while before I get behind the wheel of a Fiero again I imagine :(Also: This is how you comment on the post. :)
