VEHICLE STORY

I bought this car for $800 hoping to learn how to work on cars by jumping right in. I've always liked Pontiac cars and wanted one for a while. The Fiero has so many problems but each problem makes me love this car even more. I've only been able to get it started about five times since I bought it. Every time I get it running, it runs beautifully. The V6 roars like an analogy perfectly reflecting my feelings and is loud enough to wake the dead. It is terrifying and insanely fun to drive on the back-roads. The car currently no longer starts but the engine is not seized (thankfully). The battery drains due to some parasitic draw and has to be boosted every time just to get the lights on. The interior is torn and the aftermarket radio does not work (which is fine as I plan to get my hands on a factory model or a high-quality radio that has a cassette player). The bumper is missing a large amount of paint, has a large dent and is cracked. Lastly the rear driver-side fender is cracked. I have yet to come up with a suitable name so feel free to send me suggestions. Also I'd be happy to hear some suggestions and tips on how to get her running again as I'm completely new to the whole DIY side of cars. I have decided to turn this car into a Viper inspired project car. (Battlestar Galactica Colonial Viper Mk II) Let me know what you guys think and feel free to leave additional suggestions.
