This is Lucy. She is my daily driver. My guardian angle. My judge, juror, and I suspect eventually one day, my executioner. I have had so many adventures in this car. She has kept me safe in some pretty scary situations and is always happy to help me deal with stress when daily life gets to be too much. Lucy always starts no matter how cold it gets and will go strait to the redline without complaint or hesitation. She makes funny sounds on the highway (solvable by tapping the down switch for the driver-side window) and takes the corners like a champ. Most certainly not the fastest thing I've ever driven but truly one of my favorites, if only because she's mine. I keep arguing to myself whether to modify her or not, but I've never been able to do more than general maintenance. I may, sometime down the road, convert the rear drums to disks, and wider front tires, but I can't see myself doing much more than that. Sadly it was not to be. After she blew her coolant lines (yes all of them) I lent the Aveo to my brother as it could not make long trips required of it. As he was out doing chores, he was penned in by snow removal vehicles and was backed into, totaling my poor Lucy. I miss her dearly.
